Excursions and Camps
Throughout the year students have the opportunity to be involved in incursions and excursions. This includes in-school swimming in Term One where all students travel to Lake Grace to participate, an annual Cricket Tournament and Tennis Tournament held in Term 4.
There are also other proposed incursions to held throughout the year. Though a small but strong school, we thrive on collaborating with other neighbouring schools and enjoy the opportunity to come together to host excursions for our regional students.
Students in Years 4 to 6 can participate in the annual Dumbleyung Speech, Drama and Arts Festival. Together with Dumbleyung, Broomehill, Gnowangerup, Kulin, Lake Grace, Nyabing, St Patricks and Wagin Primary Schools, Kukerin students participate in presenting poems, choral presentations and art work.
Students in Years 5 and 6 are invited to attend School Camp in Term 4 every second year. Students attend camp with neighbouring Year 5 and 6 students from Nyabing Primary School and Pingrup Primary School. Each school hosts the camp and decide on the location.
Previous years have seen students attend camp at Harvey and Perth.
